Eyebrow threading in Victorville and Riverside

EyebrowSpa shapes brows with a twisted cotton thread that lifts a whole row of hairs from the root, and threads the upper lip, chin, sideburns, forehead or full face. Precise, quick, and gentle on sensitive skin.

What is eyebrow threading?

Eyebrow threading is a hair removal method that uses a single twisted loop of cotton thread. The threader twists it, holds it taut between their fingers and rolls the twist along the skin. Each pass catches a line of hairs and lifts them out from the root.

Because the thread follows the brow one row at a time, the threader can shape very precisely: a sharper arch, a softer tail, a cleaner line underneath. Nothing hot, sticky or chemical touches the skin, so there is no layer of skin pulled away the way wax can.

What to expect

  1. Tell us the shape you want. Natural, defined, thinner, fuller. Bring a photo if you have one.
  2. We map your brows. Your threader brushes the hairs into place and checks the shape against your face.
  3. Threading. They work in short passes and hold the skin taut so it stays comfortable.
  4. Check it in the mirror. We fine-tune anything you want changed before you go.

Is threading better than waxing?

Both remove hair from the root. Threading touches only the hair, so it is the safer choice for sensitive skin and for anyone using retinol, acne treatments or other products that make skin fragile, where waxing can lift skin. Threading also lets the threader take out a few hairs at a time, which is why people come to it for a precise shape.

Aftercare

Some redness is normal and usually settles within an hour. For the rest of the day, skip heavy makeup, exfoliants and direct sun on the area, and keep hands off so pores stay clean.

Threading questions

Does eyebrow threading hurt?

Most people feel a quick pinch or tingle, similar to tweezing but faster. The first visit tends to feel the most; it usually gets easier with regular appointments. Your threader can hold the skin taut to make it more comfortable.

How long does eyebrow threading last?

Most people have their brows threaded every three to five weeks, depending on how fast their hair grows. Threading removes hair from the root, so regrowth comes in gradually rather than all at once.

What are the downsides of eyebrow threading?

Some redness right after is normal and usually fades within an hour. People with very sensitive skin may see small bumps for a day. Avoid threading over sunburn, broken skin or active breakouts.

Can you thread other parts of the face?

Yes. EyebrowSpa threads the upper lip, chin, sideburns and forehead, or the full face in one visit.

Is eyebrow threading good for your eyebrows?

Threading removes only the hairs you want gone, each one from the root, and nothing but cotton thread touches the skin. There is no wax, heat or chemical, so it suits sensitive skin, and regular visits keep the same shape from one appointment to the next.

What happens to eyebrows as you get older?

With age, brows often thin out, grow more slowly and turn lighter or grey. Threading keeps the shape tidy without taking out more than you need, and brow tinting darkens light or grey hairs so brows look fuller again. EyebrowSpa can do both in one visit.

How much does eyebrow threading cost?

Prices depend on the service and how many areas you have done. Call EyebrowSpa at (760) 995-4100 and we will tell you the price before you come in.
