Visiting EyebrowSpa
Is EyebrowSpa the same as Eyebrows R Us?
Yes. EyebrowSpa is the new name for Eyebrows R Us (also written EyebrowsRUs). It is the same business, with the same phone number, (760) 995-4100, and the same studios: Palmdale Rd and Hesperia Rd in Victorville, and 3rd St in Riverside.
How much does eyebrow threading cost?
Prices depend on the service and how many areas you have done. Call EyebrowSpa at (760) 995-4100 and we will tell you the price before you come in.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome at both EyebrowSpa studios in Victorville, on Palmdale Rd and Hesperia Rd. The Riverside studio on 3rd St is by appointment only; call (760) 995-4100 to book.
Should I tip for eyebrow threading?
Tipping is optional and always appreciated.
Threading
What is eyebrow threading?
Threading removes hair with a twisted loop of cotton thread. The threader rolls the twist along the skin and it catches a whole row of hairs at once, lifting them out from the root. Because it follows the hair line by line, it gives a precise brow shape without wax, heat or chemicals.
Does eyebrow threading hurt?
Most people feel a quick pinch or tingle, similar to tweezing but faster. The first visit tends to feel the most; it usually gets easier with regular appointments. Your threader can hold the skin taut to make it more comfortable.
How long does eyebrow threading last?
Most people have their brows threaded every three to five weeks, depending on how fast their hair grows. Threading removes hair from the root, so regrowth comes in gradually rather than all at once.
Is threading better than waxing for eyebrows?
Threading touches only the hair, not the skin, so it is a good choice for sensitive skin and for people using retinol or acne treatments that make waxing risky. It also lets the threader shape one row of hairs at a time, which is why many people find it more precise.
What are the downsides of eyebrow threading?
Some redness right after is normal and usually fades within an hour. People with very sensitive skin may see small bumps for a day. Avoid threading over sunburn, broken skin or active breakouts.
Can you thread other parts of the face?
Yes. EyebrowSpa threads the upper lip, chin, sideburns and forehead, or the full face in one visit.
Is eyebrow threading good for your eyebrows?
Threading removes only the hairs you want gone, each one from the root, and nothing but cotton thread touches the skin. There is no wax, heat or chemical, so it suits sensitive skin, and regular visits keep the same shape from one appointment to the next.
What happens to eyebrows as you get older?
With age, brows often thin out, grow more slowly and turn lighter or grey. Threading keeps the shape tidy without taking out more than you need, and brow tinting darkens light or grey hairs so brows look fuller again. EyebrowSpa can do both in one visit.
Brow tinting
What does brow tinting do?
Brow tinting colors the brow hairs with a semi-permanent dye. It makes fine, light or grey hairs visible, so brows look fuller and more defined without pencil or powder. It pairs well with threading in the same visit.
How long does brow tint last?
A brow tint usually lasts around three to six weeks. It fades gradually as the hairs grow and shed, and oily skin or frequent exfoliation can shorten that.
Henna
How long does a henna tattoo last?
A henna tattoo usually lasts about one to two weeks (7 to 12 days). It is darkest two days after it is applied, then fades as the skin renews. Keeping the paste on longer and avoiding soap on the area for the first day helps it last.
Is henna safe?
Natural henna stains reddish-brown and is generally safe for skin. Be careful with "black henna," which often contains a chemical dye (PPD) that can cause serious reactions. If you have allergies, ask your artist what is in the paste before you start.
How much does a henna tattoo cost?
Henna is priced by the size and detail of the design, from a single vine on the wrist to full mehndi on both hands. Call EyebrowSpa at (760) 995-4100 with the design you have in mind and we will give you a quote.
